
McCRACKEN COUNTY, KY — A tragic crash claimed the life of a local man on Wednesday night after his Slingshot motorcycle struck a deer. The incident happened around 9:17 p.m. on April 9, 2025, along Ogden Landing Road.
According to officials, 32-year-old Javen Bell was riding his three-wheeled Slingshot motorcycle when the deer suddenly entered the roadway. Bell was unable to avoid the animal, and the impact caused his vehicle to roll over.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and immediately began life-saving efforts. Medics performed CPR and attempted to stabilize Bell before transporting him to a nearby hospital. Despite their efforts, he was later pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the crash.
