
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO — The El Paso County Coroner’s Office has identified the motorcyclist who died following a collision on May 31 in eastern Colorado Springs as 18-year-old Dylan Davis. The fatal crash occurred around 5:22 p.m. at the intersection of Peterson Road and Hawk Wind Drive, involving Davis’s motorcycle and a Honda vehicle.
According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Davis was riding northbound on Peterson Road when his motorcycle entered the intersection and collided with a Honda. The impact threw Davis from his motorcycle, leaving him with life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews transported him to a nearby hospital, but despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The driver of the Honda remained at the scene and spoke with police. Authorities have not released the identity of that driver and have yet to determine who was at fault. Investigators are currently reviewing witness accounts and possible surveillance footage as they work to reconstruct the events leading up to the crash. No charges have been filed as of Tuesday, and the case remains under active investigation.
