MONTGOMERY, AL – A deadly shooting early Thursday morning has claimed the life of a 19-year-old man, leaving a Montgomery neighborhood in shock and mourning. The victim has been identified as Jaboris Soles, a resident of Montgomery, according to police.
Officers with the Montgomery Police Department were dispatched to the area of Mill Street near Alma Drive shortly after 6:30 a.m. following reports of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, they found Soles lying on the ground with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, confirmed MPD spokesperson Sgt. Tina McGriff.
