The crash, which occurred around 2 p.m., involved a GMC pickup truck and a Chevrolet Tahoe. Witnesses reported that one of the vehicles overturned during the accident.
Luna, a 40-year-old Border Patrol agent, was on his way to begin his shift at the McAllen station when the crash occurred.
