
A tragic shooting in Chesterfield County, Virginia, early Sunday morning has resulted in the death of 15-year-old Allison Robersi Castillo. Roberto Pierre Elias Zaldivar, a 30-year-old man from Colonial Heights, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in connection with the incident.
At approximately 12:22 a.m. on Sunday, March 2, officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 6300 block of Pewter Avenue. Upon arrival, they discovered Castillo and Elias Zaldivar inside a vehicle, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Castillo succumbed to her injuries, while Elias Zaldivar was transported to a hospital, where he remains in the custody of the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities initially withheld the victim’s identity pending family consent. Police have indicated that the shooting appears to be an isolated incident, and no additional suspects are being sought at this time.
