
LAWRENCE COUNTY, AL – A head-on collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV late Tuesday night in Lawrence County has tragically claimed the life of a Town Creek man. Anthony B. Maxwell, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of the devastating crash.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the fatal incident occurred around 10:08 p.m. Maxwell was riding his 2008 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Lawrence County Road 143, near the intersection with Lawrence County Road 141. It was at this location that his motorcycle collided head-on with a 2014 Dodge Durango.
Emergency personnel quickly responded to the scene of the crash. However, due to the severity of his injuries from the impact, Anthony B. Maxwell was declared deceased on-site. His sudden passing has undoubtedly brought immense grief to his family and the community of Town Creek.
