ANNAPOLIS, Md. (June 13, 2025) — A statewide AMBER Alert has been issued in Maryland for a missing 4-year-old boy believed to be in imminent danger. The child, identified as Antonio Lamar Jackson, was reportedly abducted Friday afternoon from Baltimore County by his biological mother, 33-year-old Erica Kiarra Brooks.
According to Maryland State Police, Antonio was last seen around 12:57 p.m. traveling in a black 2016 Nissan Rogue SUV with Maryland license plate T2005657. The vehicle was spotted heading south on Route 295 in Anne Arundel County shortly after the child’s disappearance was reported. The alert has prompted law enforcement across the state to search urgently for the missing boy.
Antonio is described as a Black male with black hair and brown eyes. Authorities have not released specific details about the circumstances of the abduction but confirmed that Brooks is now considered a suspect. The Baltimore County Police Department launched the alert after determining that the child may be in serious, immediate danger. Law enforcement stressed that every moment counts in cases like this.
Brooks is a 33-year-old Black female. Police have not confirmed if there was a custody dispute or any previous history of concern, but they are urging the public to be vigilant. The black SUV is believed to be the primary mode of transportation, and officials are hoping that tips from the community will help them locate the vehicle quickly.
Authorities are asking anyone who sees Antonio, Erica Brooks, or the Nissan Rogue to avoid approaching them and instead call 911 or #77 right away. Additional tips can be reported directly to the Baltimore County Police Department at 410-887-2222. Media outlets have also been asked to assist in spreading the word as widely as possible.
This remains an active and developing case. As of Friday evening, no further sightings had been confirmed. AMBER Alerts are issued only when law enforcement believes a child is in grave danger, and officials are emphasizing the need for public awareness and swift action. The hope remains that Antonio Lamar Jackson will be found safe and reunited with loved ones.
