GULFPORT, Miss. — A tragic multi-vehicle collision in Gulfport claimed the life of a 40-year-old Ocean Springs man on Wednesday evening. Braden Harper was identified as the victim in the fatal crash involving his motorcycle and three other vehicles. The incident occurred at approximately 5:58 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 49 and Dedeaux Road, according to Harrison County Coroner Brian Switzer.
Authorities say Harper was riding his newly purchased motorcycle northbound on Highway 49 when he struck a van that was crossing the road.
