BALTIMORE — Police have released new details about two separate homicide cases that occurred earlier this month in Baltimore. The first case involves the death of 33-year-old Darrell Conway, who was fatally shot in the early hours of June 7. Around 2:50 a.m., officers were called to the 3000 block of Thorndale Avenue after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found Conway suffering from several gunshot wounds to his upper body. He was taken to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, but despite efforts from medical staff, he was pronounced dead.
The second case occurred on June 2 and claimed the life of 34-year-old Derek Parker. Police said Parker arrived at a local hospital with life-threatening injuries, but sadly, he did not survive. An investigation later revealed that Parker had been shot while in the 1800 block of Dover Street. Authorities have not shared who brought him to the hospital or how long after the shooting he received medical attention.
As of now, no suspects have been named in either case, and the Baltimore Police Department has not disclosed any possible motives.
