Deputies were dispatched to Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital around 7 p.m. after Enriquez-Rangel arrived with a gunshot wound. Despite efforts to save him, Enriquez-Rangel succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Authorities arrested another 18-year-old man from Wright Township at the hospital in connection with the shooting. His identity has not been released, as he remains in the Ottawa County Jail awaiting arraignment.
