At approximately 10:20 p.m. on March 21, officers from the Denver Police Department (DPD) responded to a report of a shooting in the 2200 block of East Bruce Randolph Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known. Nearly 12 hours later, at around 10:00 a.m. on Friday, police confirmed that Howard had succumbed to her injuries, and the case was reclassified as a homicide investigation.
