Deputies with the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the area after receiving multiple calls about gunfire around 10:39 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered Lanham lying on the ground, unresponsive, with a gunshot wound. Emergency crews rushed to provide aid and transported him to Wellstar Emergency Room. Despite the efforts of first responders, Lanham was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m., according to the Richmond County Coroner’s Office.
