Preliminary reports indicate that a car traveling northbound on Ashley Road entered the intersection and collided with a westbound vehicle on Walker Road. The impact of the crash proved fatal for one of the passengers, identified as 83-year-old Susan Guglielmi of Yorkville. Authorities reported that she sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
